Our "Get Ready for School" program is thoughtfully designed to support children aged 4 to 6 as they prepare for their exciting transition into a school environment.
This program emphasizes essential skills that foster both independence and social development, ensuring that young learners are equipped for a successful start to their educational journey.
Key focus areas include:
-
Mastering transitions, such as moving seamlessly between activities, and developing patience while waiting—a crucial life skill.
-
Children will engage in circle time, which not only nurtures listening skills and group participation but also encourages communication and collaboration.
-
Practical self-care skills, like independently getting dressed and undressed and using the washroom without assistance, are core components aimed at boosting confidence.
-
Promote social interaction by teaching children to sit at a table with their peers during snack time, fostering manners and a sense of community.
-
Simple academic skills, such as recognizing letters and numbers, are also introduced to ignite curiosity and prepare young minds for the classroom.

This well-rounded approach ensures children are not only ready for school but also set up for a lifelong love of learning and independence.
